Luke McCorkell is known to us all as the friendly, chirpy, excellent barman in The Squealin’ Pig. Being the son of the proprietor Brian, he never fails to deliver in his work. A weekend just isn’t the same without him behind the local bar.
Luke has been studying for the past few years and having graduated recently he is now set to experience the big bad world.
He is a young man that everyone will miss over the coming months. He ventures off to pastures new in the United States to embark on an exciting and no doubt challenging career. Everyone wishes him well, but his presence will definitely be missed.
As a young man he is courteous, friendly, fun and just darn nice. He always makes time to say ‘hello’ and converse with all. As a regular (well I pop in every so often) of the Squealin’ Pig I’m sure I speak for everyone in saying that it really won’t be the same without him. We just need to hope that Kevin and Dean etc know how to fill that empty space…
Luke, here’s hoping the US is good to you. Your locals will certainly miss that cheeky grin, yet superb personality. But each and every one of them wish you well. Go see the world kiddo, and pop home once in a while! We’ll all be waiting to see ya!
‘The earth is a sphere – so a goodbye is always a new beginning. We wish you all the best on your way forward.’
