Inishowen YL have had an exceptional week at The Foyle Cup 2013. All teams are doing well and two squads have made it to the finals tomorrow evening. Each team has a Muff (QPS) player included. The U15 squad has young Ultan McCool and the U13 squad has young Aaron McColgan.

Both these players are making a huge impression among the players and spectators over the past few days and it’s not only great for themselves but also for our local club (QPS) for producing such talented young men.

Ultan and the U15 squad face the favourites Norwich City FC at 7pm tomorrow evening at Limavady Showgrounds. The Inishowen lads are strong and very skillful, and will no doubt give this game their all. These boys have been together for a few years now under the management of Diarmuid O’Brien and Paul Doherty. They have had a superb week of football to date and conceded no goals along the way. They have a great team spirit and will give Norwich a run for their money tomorrow evening.

Aaron and the U13 squad face Sheffield Utd at 6.30pm at Riverside Stadium, Drumahoe. This young side have only conceded one goal all week and will hope to continue this in the final tomorrow. They will give their all in tomorrow evenings game and Sheffield may just be in for a surprise!

Here’s wishing both teams the very best of luck tomorrow and hope both Ultan and Aaron enjoy the experience of a Foyle Cup Final!
