QPS FC are playing Redcastle Reserves this coming Sunday in the final of The Fr O’Gara cup. I’m very fortunate to have known Father O’Gara and this cup is a fitting tribute. He loved the game.

The match kicks off in Maginn at 4pm. QPS have arranged a bus for supporters and will be departing the Squealing Pig car park at 3.20pm. The cost will be €3 for U16’s and €5 for adults.

The community is invited to come along for a fun day out and support the lads in their big game. Just two weeks ago they won the league and are now promoted to their rightful place in the premiership next season. A fun day was had with a cavalcade return from Dunree to the village here. The lads were welcomed home to the Squealing Pig and a long night followed!!! Craicon Muff had to air the house the following day……no names mentioned!

So do come along and help the lads to another success and bring the cup back to Muff. These guys have trained hard and played well all season and deserve to be in this final. Craicon Muff wishes them the very very best of luck on Sunday and is looking forward to the game. ‘Oh when the Swifts…oh when the Swifts…oh when the Swifts go marching in…..’ Go guys go…J
