The date for this years annual Muff Festival has been set for Friday 2nd August to Monday 5th August. It is shaping up to be a memorable one.
This years festival is themed ‘The Homecoming’ and it is hoped that many Muffians  living abroad will return home for it. As 2013 is the year of ‘The Gathering’ in Ireland, Muff will be no exception in having its very own ‘gathering’.
The festival hopes to welcome most, if not all, of the past Queens to partake in the opening parade. Muff youth Accordion Band are reuniting with many of its past members and will also march in the opening parade on the Friday evening.
If anyone knows people from either category, do get in touch and invite them home for this special event.
Muff Festival is world known and in recent years has been televised. So why not get your relatives and friends to make the trip home in August 2013 and be a part of a Festival to remember.
