It was great fun when the Grabbers people were here filming a couple of years ago when they were out and about in the town. It has now been shown all over the world and now it is coming to Moville. Indeed local man, Thomas O’Flaherty, the doctor’s son, was actually involved in creating a clip of the movie for the ads on RTE. Whether it was coincidence or not that it highlighted Moville nicely with a view from the steps at the Anchor across the Green to the White Wall.
Grabbers the Movie, starring Richard Coyle, Ruth Bradley and Russell Tovey, will be shown in St. Eugene’s Hall on Saturday Night. It is being run and is in aid of the Moville Christmas Tree Committee. Entrance is €5 which is better than you would get at the cinema.
Doors will open at 7:30pm and it starts prompt at 8pm on Saturday. If you haven’t seen it yet then this might be your last chance. If you have seen and liked it, it is another opportunity to see it again.
