After more than 3 years The Point Inn in Quigleys Point has reopened it’s doors once more this week. Returning to its original name, the Point Inn will surely attract many of its previous visitors and veterans, and hopefully a few new ones also. Under new ownership and management the Point is now catering to your every need. Food will be available from 12 to 9pm from the end of this week and live music will be  in the bar at weekends. This coming Sunday, St Patrick’s Day, will see one of the old favourites, Shaskeen play the bar from 4 to 6pm. A great evenings entertainment is guaranteed.

The Point Inn has a function room/ballroom currently under redecoration and will be available for weddings and all other occasions in the very near future. This will seat approximately 250 people. The 17 bedroom B&B will be readily available from the end of March. All rooms are en suite and a family room also available.

A Sunday carvery will be available very soon and quality food guaranteed.

Being a Quigleys Point gal, it was lovely this evening to pop into the old local and see it again. A warm friendly atmosphere welcomed me and a rather handsome, charming young barman served me a delightful coffee. If all the staff are as pleasant as this young man, it will definitely be the place to be.
